I posted a while back, but for some reason it got deleted–that’s not an example of kindness! 🙂 Here’s what I’ve been thinking: The word “kind” is related to the Middle English word “kin,” which means “family.” I find it interesting that the two words should be connected in this manner–that is, to be kind means to treat someone like you would treat a family member. Imagine if we did that all the time!
